Matthew Matt James born in North Carolina 5 December 1991. He is a mixed-race child born to Manny James and Patty James. He has an Nigerian father as well as a Caucasian mother. In the year 2010, James graduated from Sanderson High School. Then the following year, he attended Wake Forest University in order to complete a Bachelor's Degree in Sciences in Economics. James gained fame when the show The Bachelorette as a reality TV star. In the year 2020, he was selected to play the role of bachelor for The Bachelor's season 25 becoming the only African American male lead which will premiere in 2021. James was a perfect fit for the role as he is handsome well-rounded tall and has a great sense of comedy. Rachael krkconnell was chosen to be his partner for the season. In 2021, he joined forces with famous dancer Arnold to compete in the 30th season of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold came 12th.
